ECB's Lane speech
What it is: The central bank sets or guides its key policy rate (and may publish votes, statements, or projections). Guidance about the future path often moves markets as much as the hike/cut itself.
Why it matters: This directly anchors the risk-free rate. Unexpected hikes or hawkish guidance typically strengthen the currency and weigh on equities/crypto risk; dovish surprises do the reverse.
