Time	Cur	Impact	Event	Act	Fcst	Prev
12:30 AM	AUD CPI (YoY)Release Consumer inflation print — key input for rate expectations. Done	3.7%	4.2%	4%
CPI (YoY) What it is: Consumer Price Index (or related inflation rate) tracks how fast prices for a basket of goods and services are rising for households. Reports often include headline and core (ex food & energy) readings, month-over-month and year-over-year. Why it matters: Surprises vs forecast quickly reprice rate-cut or hike odds, which moves FX, bond yields, and risk assets. Hotter-than-expected inflation is usually hawkish for the local currency; cooler prints support easing bets.
