StablecoinA cryptoasset designed to track a peg (often USD) with low volatility.
PegThe target price a stablecoin tries to maintain (for example $1.00).
DeFiDecentralized finance protocols for lending, trading, and yield without a bank.
Total value locked (TVL)Capital deposited in a protocol or chain — a usage/size proxy.
Meme coinCommunity- and narrative-driven tokens with high volatility.
